Title: going from laptop to desktop Product Uses: crm, companydata file, drawing review, email web access etc., photo editing and storage Review: installing this computer and transfering all the data and programs, setting, printers, etc. is a work better left to a specialist. It took three days to get this done. Once everything is installed this XPS is fast and boots up almost as fast as a flash memory device. One flaw though is the download speed. in Speed Tests the XPS 8300 reaches maximum of 5 MPS. My old Inspiron 8600 laptop gets up to 9.5 and my wife's XPS laptop reaches 14 MPS. I am convinced that I have a faulty network card. I need to contact Dell Technical Support for that, if only they were at a different location. |

Title: XPS12 Ultra Convert Product Uses: reading textbooks for class, visio drawing, reviewing quotes, cloud file access Review: Sorry, I couldn't select my model for the review because it wasn't an option. It's the XPS12 Ultra and it's nice except you need to select your hard drive sizing in advance because there appears to be no upgradable parts for it (no access bay to upgrade or add on to memory or hdd). |
